QUESTIONABLE VEGETABLE SALES LEAD TO CHASE

Shoppers at the Kroger Marketplace at Hunter’s Ridge this afternoon were met with some fishy entertainment after this lady, 54 year old Kathy Trout, was selling Zucchinis in the parking lot at half the price as Kroger. As shoppers took her up on her deal, they noticed that Trout’s Zucchini, smelled a little off.
Rod Baum said he bought two rather large and that they had a fishy smell to them. “One of them even had a slimy coating on it, but she said that was just a spray to keep it fresh. I don’t know, I’m scared to eat it.” He said.
Another man, Collin Drayton said as he was walking “Bought some last week, tastes like my ex-wife. Bad shit right there”
Kroger employees called the police on her citing that she does not have a vendors license, and had concerns that her Zucchinis may have been considered toys at one point. When police arrived, she booked it on foot towards Morrison Road. Police tried to catch up to her but lost her near the Hunter’s Ridge Apartments. Gahanna SVU (Spoiled Vegetables Unit) showed up and took all of her zucchinis as evidence, while having her Chevy Blazer towed. We obtained a mug shot from her last arrest after she was seen barking like a dog in the nude at the corner of Cleveland Avenue and Westerville Road.
